   唱跳结合的流行歌手杰西卡·辛普森生长在美国德克萨斯州的达拉斯城，她作为一名教会合唱团的成员开始了她的歌唱生涯。

    12岁的时候，辛普森到米老鼠俱乐部进行试唱，成绩并不理想。那年夏天，当她参加教会夏令营时被一家小音乐公司——CCM音乐公司的老板看中。花了三年时间灌制她的首张专辑；然而，她的那张专辑还未来得及发行，该公司就倒闭了，最后是她的祖母筹集了一小笔钱款来资助她。后来，她在教会的青年合唱团的巡回演出中一举成名。

       在这个残酷血腥的战争和连绵不断的绯闻把电视搞得乌烟瘴气的年代里，《新婚夫妇》这种琐碎平凡但温馨可人的真人秀，通过一对明星夫妇讲述老百姓自己的家庭故事，独具亲和力。辛普森在《新婚夫妇》中的形象有点傻气，还有点骄横，但真实可爱，美国人在一夜之间都爱上了这个芭比娃娃般的年轻少妇。之后，杰西卡·辛普森频频亮相美国各大频道，讨论婚姻生活，为各类商品代言，再尝走红的滋味。

     005年11月，杰西卡·辛普森和尼克·拉基宣布结束近3年的婚姻。这一事件更使辛普森成为舆论风头浪尖的人物。婚姻失意的辛普森开始寄情工作，除了出唱片，还在大银幕上展现自己的成熟美丽，主演了《正义前锋》、《明星雇员》等电影
